I possess an audi 2002 but I was looking at some Lexus models and some Mitsubishi models. What do you guys think? Stick with the audi and mess with that or look into some other cars?

Resolved Question: rev speed for lexus es300 1999?
Just bought this car and saw at 65 mph,it was revving at 35k and at 70 it was at 40k. Is this normal for this car, it seems higher as my 96 nissan maxima revs less than 30k at 65mph. thanks thanks for the response. It is automatic and I did try to toggle the override but no change. However, even if OD is not turned on, should it be this high? What could be wrong.... I believe it goes up to 3rd gear and you can feel there is a 4th coming but it doesn't. Additionally the engine check and trac lights are also on, not sure if it is related. Overall the gear shifting is smooth so it leads me to believe the transmission might be ok, but its just like the OD doesn't exist. I do feel that the rev speed at 60mph for this car should not exceed 2k rpm. Also, I did try to engage the OD button.The OD off signal does go off when I engage it, but it doesn't go to OD... :( the car is at the store now. He ran the diagnostics and says it seems like the knock sensor and cat convertor needs to be checked/replace. I'll give him the tip about the solenoids. thanks every.

I was walking down the road, and the car was there, and it was running. It was a nice car, and the driver was inside the store, and so I got in the car. But once I got to my hideout and parked it with the others, between the BMW and the Lexus, I looked back and realized there was a BABY in the car! So I took the baby out of the car, and I was holding it, and the voices got mad at me, and the pink and purple dogs barked and flew around me, and now I'm running through the woods with the baby and Bob is trying to shoot me and the golden elephants are running everywhere and the baby decided it wanted to PEE nad POOP every over my new shirt that I took from the green man! And I'm on my phone trying to type this and there are sticks and lions and tigers and bears! I'm depressed again.I haven't felt this since a long time,but the situation didn't change since then,I only tried not to feel bad but it catch me up again..I feel like shit about this life...my life.And don't try to say I have low self esteem.I like myself but this life sucks.There is nothing to do in it except this studying,then again studying(high school or university),then working...goddamn everyday working.Struggling in each month for yourself to receive enough money to live.every life long.What's the good in this?Study more,receive more payment?I may have lots of money but that won't make life glad.Just as long as I can buy newer and more exciting things,but they run out eventually,even having 10 Lexus cars will receive boring(I won't go that far,just saying).So,what's the point of every of this?And how can I make it less boring? Resolved Question: lexus overheating new waterpump,thermostat and more?
i just had the head gaskets on my es300 replaced the car still overheats. it only overheats when i steer. i can leave the the car idling for an hour and it wont over heat. ive replaced the water pump got a low temp thermostat, 4 coolant flushes, new coolant caps. what could be the problem. ive had two mechanics look at it and they can figure it out do you mean receive it compression tested

Resolved Question: rear bumper to bumper scratch?
I was backing from a crowded parking lot and hit the rear bumper of Lexus, did a tiny scratch and a tiny dent, the cart I hit was parked in the road of the parking lot where cars transit, persons were in the car when this happened, gave them my information ( plates and license number) unfortunately due to the circumstances I did not receive the persons plates or number,my car also got a scratch, I have to wait for his call... what are the legal procedures, am I still at fault ? how will I know if this guy is not chargin me more than what it actually cost. Resolved Question: What car should my dad buy? '10 Maserati Quattroporte or '10 Lexus LS600hl?
My dad is buying a new car in the close future and asked me what i thought he should receive. He's narrowed it down to the Maserati Quattroporte and the Lexus LS hybrid. He'd probably want comfort over speed though. So which one would you recommend? Both are 2010 and are the exact same price. I would like to hear from people who know what they're talking about. Voting Question: 2007 lexus gx 470 or 2007 mercedes benz gl 450?
okay my dad wants a new vehicle (SUV) because he is sleepy of a minivan now. we came down to two vehicles which is mercedes benz gl or a lexus gx. both are used and loaded. here is a little more details about them gl450: fully loaded with gps and everything. 44 000 km and we know its not re winded or whatever everything looks new from inside to out. we entered the car and it still smelled like brand new price: $39 000 gx 470 loaded as well! 77 000 km legit! the style of this is a little off but still good outside it looks decent but inside is good as well! price: $44 000 which one is better? my dad is worried that mercedes might break down in like 1 year and pay too much money to fix it. we never had a mercedes benz that is why we cannot pick right away. please help! try not to be bias as possible thanks!

Resolved Question: I am spoiled if my first car is a lexus?
I turned 16 at the end of last year and got my license a couple months ago. The day after that, my parents bought me a 2007 certified pre-owned Lexus rx350 (SUV), with leather interior, built-in nav system, moon roof, the whole deal. It still looks almost brand new Am I spoiled (even if I'm ranked 3rd in my class at a really good private school and I am a nationally ranked swimmer)?

Open Question: 1996 Lexus ls400 wanders left and right and the suspension feels loose when braking at low and high speeds but?
it goes straight on the road, took it to a big National Tire Chain and did an oil change and got a free alignment and brake inspection and they told me its a rear wheel bearing. Would this cause every these ailments, the car feels like it has it wants to detach itself from the chassis BTW, thats the rear that feels this way, front seems fine.

Open Question: Is it possible to fix soft clutch on sc300?
I have owned my 93 lexus sc300 for about a year now. I have recently been driving some of my friends cars (97 Z3, 03 Mini S, and 02 WRX) and have noticed that their clutches are much stiffer and have a much shorter travel than on my lexus. Is there anyway I can make my clutch feel more like theirs? It is the clutch pedal that has a long travel not the shifter. The problem is the clutch was only replaced 8K miles ago. I would only buy a cadillac if I wanted to pay and arm and a leg in repair costs and be inconvenienced every other week by having to take it into the store. The same goes for BMWs. I don't care what anyone else says, Toyotas, Hondas, and Nissans are the most reliable cars period.

Voting Question: 2003 lexus es300 concern?
My 2003 lexus es300 sometimes skips a bit while driving. It feels as if it turned of for a millisecond (nothing turns off in reality) and jumps a bit. I think it can be the fuel injectors because the car is at 100,000kms. what can this be because the car is extremely taken care of and it has bin serviced by lexus. how much would it cost to fix?

Looking down I noticed the baseboards were dirty, I asked her about it and she said she didn't notice it but she would clean it right away. I don't know about you guys but in my home that behavior DOES NOT STAND. So I called her a fat pig and told her to finish my supper before I smack her across her fat little face. She stormed out of the home crying and on the way out she scratched my new lexus. I want to sue her but I think there's a chance she might arrive back to me. Voting Question: What is causing the squeak noise from my rotor caliper area in my Lexus Es330?
Ok i was beginning to notice a slight squeak noise arrive from my rotor area a couple weeks ago. Now it is getting out if hand it is incredibly noisy and embarrassing. It squeaks as i back out of my driveway (loudly i might add) as i roll down the road at about 5mph and as i increase speed it does not go away. I still hear it as i brake, possibly a bit rougher sounding. I dont hear it as i steer a faster speed but i think the wind and the open atmosphere is taking the sound away because now that i think of it i still hear it if im driving past buildings or other vehicles. I bought my car with 99 big ones on the odometer from carmax. Maybe im thinking that the brake pads are wearing down now. I bought the car in january. the problem just arose so maybe the pads were going bad but within their regulations and let it slide by with almost bad pads. I am hoping that it is something cheap. Times is difficult and i have to make do with my little bit of money. Its a Lexus es330. O superb vehicle i might add. Personally think it drives better than probably any Vehicle in its class 2010 and below to include remodeled LaCrosse. I am a New Car Salesman for Chevrolet i driven it.. Ehh.. Not that impressed. Nice lookin Cheap made. will not hold value like a Lexus. Parts arent as solid. Anywho.. Does anybody have any idea what it could be. The noise persists as i brake, sounds when i steer in sync with speed. pushing 118k on the odometer now. could it be my pads. more than likely??

Open Question: Car is revving weird and stalling, what could be wrong?
I bought a 1993 Lexus sc 400 with 135000 miles on it and I just got the automatic transmission pump replaced because it was making horrible sounds when i would turn to wheel. So went to firestone and they fixed it, but the day after i got it back, now it is revving weird. I would be sitting at a light and sometimes it would start revving below 1000rpm to over 1000rpm and sometimes then would stall. Once i was driving on the freeway with the air conditioning on and it would rev lower quickly, like it is miss firing or something. start at 4000rpm, then quickly rev down to 2500rpm and rev back up and do it a few times. So I took it back in to firestone and they did a fuel system cleaning, and now when my car revs below 1000rpm then check engine light would arrive on. When I rev over 1000rpm, it would go away. Any ideas of whats wrong, firestone doesn't seem to know and i can't keep spending money on things that just seem to make things worse.

Open Question: could we have gotten shot?
we were at a mcdonalds in the palm beach area and we were pulling out of a parking spot close the steer through and then a black lexus with 3 black males comes shooting behind us almost hitting the back of our car. nothing out of the usual. but then when they reached the steer through line one of the doors opened as we were driving out of the parking lot right next to their car. would a guy really receive out of the car at a steer through and start shooting at a truck just because of what happened? they looked like they were in a gang but were driving a brand new lexus car, so possibly it was drug related. i dont know its just bothering me. plus one of my passengers claimed the driver shook his head when the guy in the back opened the door. like what could he have been planning to do if he got out of the car? it doesnt make sense

Voting Question: Check Engine Light comes on 1998 Lexus, what could be the problems? Expensive to fix?
my check engine light comes on when i was driving. Prior to that, i was moving storage items to dorms, several 5 minutes quick trip. I dont know if loading heavy on the car would cause a problem. Later in the day, i was messing around with the car a few times driving in the parking lot doing difficult brake turning. Half an hour after or so, the light comes on. It blinks for few seconds at start, then goes away for a period of time. Then the light went steady for few mins and go away. At last, the light stays on. Thanks for thehelp.

Resolved Question: Lexus IS250 '09.. scratches easily?
Does anyone have this car? I have it in the graphite colour, and it seems to be scratching way too easily. It is as if each time I steer it, I find a new scratch somewhere on it. They are pretty noticeable too. I have one other new car, and theres not one scratch on it.. although, it is a kia. Does this have anything to do with the quality of lexus paint?

Voting Question: Transaxle capable of v8 engine?
I need a transaxle for a mid engined kit car I'm building but I don't know what will fit my engine size. I have a Lexus Ls 4 litre v8 engine, i was thinking a porsche boxster transaxle but then I saw that the engine is only a 2.7 v6 and not sure if it would be capable of handling the v8. Or is there some sort of an adaptor to connect between a transaxle and my engine? Cheers

so yah my pal keyed some persons car and and it was a lexus is350 i think but anyways yah they cought her doing it and the owner of the car said that it would cost him about 1700 to repair the keyed marks and asked her to only pay 1000. Open Question: I just bought a 1996 Lexus ls400 with 227k miles, just passed smog yesterday, is this a good sign?
that the engine is working fine, and how many more miles can I expect out of it with proper maintenance, what items should be looked at right away, it looks like the car wasnt really taken care of as the shocks are gone, the interior is weathered but not torn up and the body is straight, they just painted over the gray bottom and made the whole car white but the white paint doesnt match the cars white paint exactly. Got it for $2300, no accidents and not a salvage title.
